The city of Dresden has now also a modern soccer arena. The 43 million euro Rudolf Harbig stadium was opened in the presence of master coach Felix Magath.
After 22 months of construction, the newly built sports facility was at the friendly match between the third division club Dynamo Dresden and FC Schalke 04 Bundesliga club for the first time sold out with 32 000 spectators.
